I believe individuals are the experts in their own lives, and my role as a clinician is to create a supportive, grounded environment where people can recognize their strengths, build resilience, and make meaningful change. My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a focus on helping clients develop practical skills for everyday life. I am passionate about empowering people to build healthy coping strategies, reconnect with their sense of agency, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. Above all, my goal is to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood.
I grew up in Southeast Idaho, where family, community, and connection have always been central values. These experiences shape the way I approach my work, prioritizing compassion, authenticity, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship. My professional background includes supporting individuals in addiction recovery, working within problem-solving courts, and serving youth and families in the school system. These diverse settings have strengthened my belief that people can create profound change when they have the right support.
Outside of my clinical role, I enjoy sports, reading, and spending time with my family. I am continually inspired by the resilience people carry, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate healing, growth, and the pursuit of a meaningful life.
