McKenzie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over four years of experience walking alongside kids and teens as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. I specialize in working with children and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and crisis. I’m passionate about helping young people understand themselves and their emotions in a safe, supportive space. Although new to working with adults, I believe a lot of my practice is the same, just with a little more maturity and less toys 🙂
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based — which means I believe every individual has the inner tools and resilience needed for growth and healing. I love using psychoeducation to help clients and families feel informed and empowered throughout the counseling process.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me outside soaking up nature, hanging out with my own kids, or listening to music. I bring that same grounded, human approach into my work — meeting each client where they are, and helping them move forward at their own pace.
