My therapy approach is eclectic but leans more toward a cognitive behavioral approach. My passion is to help clients learn a way of thinking about how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. I want to help people recognize and change their negative thought patterns so they can feel better and make healthier choices. My passion is also to help people discover themselves and help them facilitate their personal growth as they understand their true selves.
I am open to working with any clients from any walk of life, including those from a religious background. My communication style is warm and friendly. I provide an environment where clients can feel safe and comfortable, but also be challenged, especially in areas where they need to grow.
My journey in the mental health field began a little over ten years ago when I applied to be a community-based rehabilitation worker and a case manager. After ten years in the field, I felt called to become a mental health therapist to understand the human mind and to make a difference in people’s lives.
