Mark Rodel, EdS, LCPC
My counseling philosophy is grounded in “meeting clients where they are at” and beginning a journey of self-discovery. I utilize a strength-based approach, drawing from multiple counseling theories (ACT, CBT, Narrative). I incorporate skill development (process, reading, mindset, mindfulness) to create a path to realizing potential and personal growth. In addition, when appropriate I have the ability to incorporate Virtual Reality in therapy (Mindfulness, OCD desensitization, Social Anxiety).
My learning includes multiple post graduate degrees (Ed.S Counseling, MCOUN, MBA), and extends through a cross section of unique experiences including eleven years as a licensed professional counselor (Private Practice, K12, College), and twelve years in corporate business Kohler Co, AZEK, Merrill Lynch).
